Weapons and Abilities
I came up with several weapons and abilities based around an overall strategy that push into different gameplay styles. These strategies include manipulating your health and knocking enemies into traps.
Enemies, New and Old
To add variety and counterplay to the enemies, I came up with new ideas and redesigned existing ones. New ideas include flowers that pop out of the ground to attack, and summoners that spawn more enemies.
Gameplay Modes
As the company prepared for a new beta release, I came up with several gameplay modes in addition to the main story, with the mindset of giving more material for content creators.
Retrospective
I think my internship was successful and I learned a lot, both about VR and coming up with ideas. Sadly the internship didn't last long enough to see my ideas get implemented and tested out, but I'm optimistic about them, and I'm glad if they inspire other ideas in this game.
