Daily Zoughts - Oct 24 2023 (Tue)

The plan today was to study for this exam and then do some work on Burn It Down. As expected, I got super bored studying and ended up doing other stuff. I submitted the pitch for Project Studio and then did more research on other classes for next semester. Studying for this exam has taken up so much time that it's been putting me behind on the classes I actually care about.

This shouldn't be controversial, except it probably is, but closed note exams are incredibly stupid, even if it's just multiple choice. They're neither fun or rewarding to do. The game design major doesn't have any exams at all, it's so wonderful. It's the gen ed courses that can only come up with essays and other outdated practices. They're definitely the thing I'll miss the least when college is over.

Alright back to studying for about half an hour before going to bed. I've been slacking on sleep, which is probably bad for doing ok on the exam. I have to keep telling myself to commit to going to bed at 11pm.
